Here are 3 secrets To increase sales and get seen and remembered at craft fairs!
Are you trying to think of a unique fun way to grab your customer’s attention as they walk from booth to booth?
Secret #1- Interaction.
First- this really isn’t a secret but it’s amazing how many people don’t interact at craft fairs. Put down your phone and interact with your customer. When I go to craft fairs, I want to see that the business I am potentially buying from cares enough to interact with me, even just a hello, are you enjoying the day.
Secret #2 – Invest in your customer, increase sales and create excitement around your business.
Have you ever noticed there is always more excitement and traffic in booths that give away products or run a raffle? EVERYONE loves free stuff! Everyone loves to win and feel like a winner.
Secret #3- How can you generate that kind of excitement so they’ll tell their friends, mention you on social media and create a relationship where they will learn to Know, Like and Trust you? Scratch off stickers. These fun stickers are more than just a sticker. They are a fun business tool, used to create fun scratch off cards.
It’s easy to create a Scratch off promotion that generates some excitement.
Running a free scratch off campaign will be something new that grabs your customer’s attention and makes them remember you. One of my favorite ways to run a scratch off promotion is to make sure everyone is a winner and there is a grand prize winner as well. When you print your business card and add a scratch off sticker over it, chances are they are going to keep the card, especially if you give them a fun reason to.
An example would be to offer Free Shipping in September with $40 order. Now you have qualified your offer so you’re not losing money and you have given your potential customer a reason to visit your website or store again in September. This is how you generate sales and keep your customer interested in your products.
As your customer gets to know you, they’ll trust you and move you into their “I want to hear from this business” box instead of the ugh, more spam. Once your customer gives their personal information to you, guard it and don’t abuse it.
As a small business, you may not be able to offer free shipping with every order. If you don’t want to give free stuff away all day, you could do a drawing to win a free gift certificate to be used on their first purchase or perhaps you want everyone to feel like a winner so you offer “consolation prizes” with every scratch off card.
